Renée Marcil has been in the design industry for almost 20 years. Her passion started at a very young age when she discovered a keen eye that allowed her to decorate her own room and even the rest of her childhood home.

Renée studied and graduated in interior design at the CEGEP St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, near Montreal in 2005. While in school, she worked in a specialised Sico Painting store and a high end plumbing store, Plomberie Sabourin. Soon after graduating, Renée started employment as a consultant in Benjamin Moore-Déco Surfaces store for over 3 years. While doing home visits she would help clients in finding the best selection of colour, placement furniture, including all kinds of window coverings and flooring.
In 2008, Renée found her talents in custom cabinetry and kitchen & bathrooms re-designs to add significant value to properties. She’s done over 1 000 projects over the last 10 years, which comprise of new home renovations, major improvements or even minor updates. Although Renée’s specialty is kitchen & bathroom makeovers, she can, and has designed, every type of room in a home to ensure cohesive flow.

Renée has been in the Ottawa region since 2011 and collaborating with Spectra Painters since 2016. No projects are too big or to small for her expertise. She offers bilingual services and her approach is professional but friendly.
